FlexClean All-In-One Floor Cleaner

Your Rug Doctor® FlexClean® All-In-One Floor Cleaner comes in 4 easy-to-assemble components:
- Main Handle
- FlexClean® All-In-One Floor Cleaner
- Soft Surface Nozzle (carpet/rug)
- Hard Surface Nozzle (hard floor)
* A #2 Phillips screwdriver is required
Use #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove screw in Handle Connector. Insert the Main Handle into the Handle Connector. Align the hole in the Main Handle with the hole on the Handle Base. Insert the Screw and use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to tighten the Screw by turning clockwise.
Attach Carpet Nozzle or Hard Floor Nozzle as per desired area to clean.
- Align the nozzle tabs with the slots in the base (in front of the brushroll).
- Rotate toward machine.
- Latch the nozzle by pressing down on the top of the nozzle until you hear a “click.”
Fill the Tank
The Clean Water Tank is the top tank located on the front of the machine. Push the Clean Water Tank Release Button and lift the Clean Water Tank in an outward motion. Turn the Clean Water Tank upside down. Unscrew the Clean Water Cap by turning counter clockwise. Remove Clean Water Cap from the tank and set aside.
Fill the tank with HOT tap water until it reaches the “Fill” line. Add Rug Doctor All-In-One Cleaning Solution as directed. (Clean Water Tank holds approximately 1 gallon of water.) Screw the cap back onto the Clean Water Tank by turning clockwise until completely tightened. Turn Clean Water Tank right side up. Securely place onto the machine. You will hear a “click” sound when the tank is locked into place.
Turn the Flow Control Dial to the desired setting based on desired cleaning. Then insert plug into a properly grounded outlet, and you’re ready to begin.
Prepping Your FlexClean All-In-One Floor Cleaner

To start using your FlexClean, ensure there is clean water in your tank filled to the specified amount and set in place. The machine should be plugged in and placed in the area to be cleaned.
Cleaning Your Carpet
Turn on the Flow Control Dial to the Carpet Deep Clean or Carpet Quick Dry setting based on desired cleaning. Push the Power Switch to “Floor Cleaning” position. Step on the Handle Release Pedal to pull back/release the Main Handle.
Press the Soap & Scrub Trigger to apply cleaning solution to the carpet. Make 2 slow wet passes over same area with trigger squeezed. (1 forward,1 back). For heavily soiled areas, make up to 4 wet passes. To speed drying process, make 2 dry passes by releasing the soap & scrub trigger – this will only engage the suction. Leave the machine on for 15 seconds after cleaning to allow for all of the dirty solution to be collected into the Dirty Water Tank.
Cleaning You Hard Floors
Once the machine is ready to placed in the hard floor area to be cleaned, turn the Flow Control Dial to the Hard Floor setting. Push the Power Switch to “Floor Cleaning” position. Step on the Handle Release Pedal to pull back/release the Main Handle.
Press the Soap & Scrub Trigger to apply cleaning solution to the floor. Make 2 slow wet passes (1 forward, 1 back) over same area. To remove any extra moisture from the floor, Release Soap & Scrub Trigger and make 2 dry passes. Leave the machine on for 15 seconds after cleaning to allow for all of the dirty solution to be collected into the Dirty Water Tank.
Cleaning With The Upholstery Tool
To prepare the FlexClean to be used with the upholstery tool, squeeze and lift the floor nozzle to remove from the machine.
Insert the Upholstery Tool Connector in the Upholstery Tool Port, located behind the Nozzle. Turn the Flow Control Dial to the Deep Clean or Quick-Dry setting based on desired cleaning.
Push the Power Switch to the “Upholstery Clean” position. Position the Upholstery Tool in front of the area or stain you want to deep clean. Squeeze the Spray Trigger on the Upholstery Tool to apply cleaning solution to the area. Move the tool back and forth to spray, scrub and extract stains and soil. Make sure to press the front of the tool down into the surface to remove dirty water. Tip: release the spray trigger as you near the edge of the cleaning area to avoid overspraying.
Leave the machine on for 15 seconds after cleaning to allow for all of the dirty solution to go through entire hose and be collected into the Dirty Water Tank.
FLEXCLEAN WARRANTY
Rug Doctor® carpet cleaning machines have been manufactured, tested, and inspected in accordance with Rug Doctor’s high standards of quality. The Rug Doctor FlexClean® All-In-One Floor Cleaner (“Machine”) is backed by a two (2) year limited warranty (“Warranty”). Please consult your User’s Manual to see the full terms of your Warranty.
LIMITED CONSUMER WARRANTY
Rug Doctor gives you, the original purchaser, who retains proof of purchase from Rug Doctor or an authorized Rug Doctor Dealer, this Warranty for your Machine acquired for normal household use (commercial and rental use is excluded). You are responsible for notifying Rug Doctor within thirty (30) days of original purchase if any parts or components are missing on your Machine.
WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY COVER / HOW LONG DOES THE WARRANTY LAST?
Rug Doctor will, for the original purchaser, repair or replace including labor, any part that is defective in material or workmanship for your Machine within the Warranty period listed above. This Warranty applies for normal household use only.
WHAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
The following exclusions apply for Machine and part(s) failures due to: 1) normal wear and tear; 2) Machine alterations and 3) abuse or misuse of the Machine, including use not in accordance with the “User’s Manual”. This Warranty does not provide for a refund of the purchase price. For best operating efficiency and cleaning use of Rug Doctor products is recommended. Use of the Machine for rental voids the Warranty and is not permitted under Federal Law (see “UNAUTHORIZED USE” statement below). Commercial use is excluded under the Warranty however the “ONE YEAR LIMITED COMMERCIAL WARRANTY” applies, as shown below. Rug Doctor is not liable for any consequential or incidental damages of any nature involving the purchase/use of your Machine. In no event shall Rug Doctor’s liability exceed the purchase price of the Machine. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WHICH MAY ARISE BY OPERATION OF LAW, ARE LIMITED TO TWO (2) YEARS FROM THE PROVEN DATE OF PURCHASE UNLESS APPLICABLE STATE LAW PROVIDES OTHERWISE.
EXPENSES
If a Machine is returned to a Warranty center for repair within thirty (30) days of original purchase, Rug Doctor pays the freight charges both to the Warranty center and back to you. Thereafter, you may be directed to take the Machine to a local repair center or required to ship the Machine to a Rug Doctor Warranty center should additional repairs be required during the Warranty period. During the Warranty period, but after the initial thirty (30) days, you will be responsible to pay any freight charges for shipment to the Warranty center for repairs. Rug Doctor will pay the freight charges to return your Machine to you.
HOW STATE LAWS APPLY
This Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
HOW DO I GET SERVICE UNDER THIS WARRANTY?
To obtain Warranty assistance, please call 1-800-RUG DOCTOR (1-800-784-3628), or email consumer.support@rugdoctor.com. Rug Doctor will need the following information in order to assist you: your name, address and telephone number, product model and serial number, proof of purchase showing date and place of purchase. Please explain the nature of the problem. Rug Doctor will review all the facts involved and advise you as to recommended procedure. We recommend you keep the original carton and packing materials.
UNAUTHORIZED USE
Use of this Machine with Rug Doctor Trademarks for rental purposes is UNAUTHORIZED and is in violation of U.S.C. Section 1114(I) and 15 U.S.C. Section 1125(a).
ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED COMMERCIAL WARRANTY
All of the Warranty terms as expressed above shall apply in all respects, for the original United States purchaser of a Rug Doctor carpet cleaning Machine, who purchases/uses the Machine commercially (not in household use), except the Warranty period for the defects in material or workmanship as well as housing parts for commercial use Machine shall be one (1) year.
